empty room…
Today we finished going through everything left in Miss Courtney’s room that have wasn’t already been given away or donated.
I took down all of the artwork that was sent to her for her last birthday this side of heaven. I will rehang it in new spots throughout the house so she is with us in every room.
Now I am staring at a turquoise shell with awesome curtains my friend KGS made for my girl. It feels as empty as my heart without my beautiful Courtney here with me.
I know the room where she took her last breath will one day be a place of peace, joy and creativity but right now it’s just empty…like me…
Praying for you guys.

Praying for your family.
Praying for you guys…
I haven't lloked in on your blog for a few day, Mary, I sort of feel as if I don't want to intrude too often on the silent reflection that is going on. But I am so glad you are still using your gift of writing and generously sharing your journey of faith with us. Keeping you in my prayers. Any jobs for Jerry yet?
None yet. He i interviewing two to three times a week. It's just crazy. Please keep praying.
I will be praying and will try to add extra ones for the job. So sorry this has lingered on but maybe God sees your need for some close family time for the while? It's great to see your trips out and to visit family, you are blessed with your lovely nieces!
Prayers your way during your desert time. Sent you an email. 🙂
I must say, I certainly do miss you. It makes my giving up potato chips for Lent sound even more shallow than I already knew it was, but I know your memoir will be lovely, that Courtney will help you write it, and that "all will be well, all will be well, all manner of thing will be well." (I know that's not exactly right, but it was close enough I thought I better add quotes.) God bless.
