  1. Must say that I love your colorful sweater. That's because I have the same one.

I am built very similarly to you – I wish I felt comfortable enough to be photographed like you seem to be.

Love your blog. Your family is beautiful. Prayers for all of you and especially your daughter. She is lovely.

    1. Miss Ellen – life is short. I used to hate to get photographed since I have been full-figured my whole adult life. Hated it. Finally about six or seven years ago I had a moment where I forced myself to look in the mirror and just get comfortable with what I saw. It's not perfect by any means. But I realized that fear was guiding my choices and I made a choice to dress what I had as best I could instead of being afraid of always looking fat. I think if you dress modestly with class and you are comfortable with yourself, in the end people don't remember what your wearing. They remember your smile, your confidence, you laughter and personality. So be bold Ellen, and just do it. It takes practice but in time you will be more comfortable. I promise. 🙂

    2. Thanks for your encouragement. I have definitely been improving my wardrobe now that our son is on his own and my husband's job has opened up some travel opportunities. And I definitely feel better about how I dress. Now if I could just get over my aversion to having my picture taken…..
