  1. "I want the woman I marry to meet her, and know what my sister means to me." It's clear that whomever that woman is will be lucky to call you husband. Mary, this was beautiful. There is something so pure and lovely about the love between siblings.

  2. Thank you so much… Was just saying my prayer to the Infant Jesus of Prague for your tiger and I think I need to include big brother in my prayer now. Honey I would be proud to call you my son as I'm sure your dear parents are. And don't worry your future spouse will know Courtney through the way she has taught you to love… Prayers continue for you soldiers… May you have peace..

  3. So lovely to "hear" Jonathan's voice! Thank you Jonathan for sharing your thoughts which are inspiring. I think of you as the "St Jospeh" of the blog; silently in the background doing God's work. Witnessing without many spoken words but eloquent in your actions and faith.
We are all behind you and constantly in prayer for you and the family. I hope you can feel the strength of that prayer of the Church Militant holding you and Mum, Dad and Courtney up during these days of hard work and endeavour.
Much love to you all, xx

  4. I have posted before about this. Because I was (am) him. I feel the emotion in every word written here. So much is said about the person that is ill and the parents. Rightfully so because it is an unbearable pain at times. But us siblings also suffer. We are also missing out and as we age and our sibling makes their trip to Heaven reality sinks in and it is absolutely devastating at times! Beautiful post Jonathan!

  5. Oh, Jonathon! What beautiful words and more importantly what a beautiful heart. You are a blessing to your parents and to Courtney. Your future wife may not know Courtney but she will know the strong and beautiful man that loving and caring for Courtney has helped you to become.
