  1. Thank you, Mary. This was beautiful and so encouraging. I have been there…am living there. Some days it's harder to chose joy than others, but I know that when we keep our focus on the only Hope, we can get through. Thank you so much for sharing your hurt and hope!

    1. Thank you Lori for this gentle reminder about HOPE. Without it we are nothing. I thought of Peter walking on water. When he took his eyes off of Jesus, he begins to drown. Eye on the prize and all will be well.

  2. James 1:12 – Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

You are earning your crown Mary!

Continued prayers for you all. And praying that you are able to find the joy in the trials.

  3. Many times I have read your beautiful words but I have never commented before. Today please know that in Dublin Ireland I am thinking of you, marvelling at your strength and love for your daughter and family. Would that I could show a fraction of your courage 'under fire'

    1. Oh Claire – you made me smile from ear to ear. You are too kind. I am amazed that someone across the pond has found my little corner of cyberspace. The fact that my words helped you in any way shape of form makes it even better.
