  1. Love it! I found, oddly enough, that in my Whole 30 weight loss was my only change. All my gut issues (I originally typed "guy issues" thank you God, we have none of those lol) remained and one even got worse. Yikes! The extra energy etc, never happened for me either boo! oh well, I am so glad things are moving well for you. Can't wait to see recipes as you have NEVER steered me wrong with those. The chili I will have to make a small batch of. For a chef, Jeff is not an adventurous eater and my children…we'll discuss their food issues another time! 🙂

    1. It definitely affects people differently, that's for sure. I think more important than the type of diet for me is the calories in, calories burned. It's all about going back to the basics. Hugs friend.

  2. Oh my goodness how cute are you! I started following along with the last bit of Courtney's journey … and have really just been keeping you and the rest of the Lenaburg's in my heart and prayers. I am all the way over in South Africa, but check in and read along, always. I have a little 4 year old which through Courtney's journey has received a ton more hugs kisses and patience that he would have were it not for her. I am trying so hard to be more intentional with my love and patience for my family. I am, at heart, super impatient and very fast paced…. so learning to slow it down. Way way down, has been hard, but realizing how short life is, how fortunate we are …. has certainly made me more aware of how I use my time, How I speak to my boys etc. I am a working mom, so I am always fighting to keep all the bits of who I am pulled together and be a presnet wife, loving mom, good homemaker, "exeed expectations" kind of employee and all the other little things us mommies get to be. One of the current things I am working on is cooking. We mainly get meals delivered, (not fast food, home cooked), but I am trying to wittle that down and do more myself…. these posts have certainly helped! So I guess what I really wanted to say in this thesis I ended up writing, is, Thank you for teaching me, Thank you for being real, and thank you for sharing your journey so I can learn. You made my life better. (Virtual cupcake on a pretty plate with floral swirls and little hearts for you. And a cuppa tea – the kind the queen drinks) Hugs from Saffa, Kammi
