what i wore…au natural…

It’s August and too darn hot for me to wear makeup. I mean one good hot flash and it will all melt  anyways, so why bother. 


I still strive to look nice for the Lord though so this morning I went with an oldie but goodie. This Land’s End empire waist dress has been a friend for over two years now. When I am thinner, I wear it. When I am fluffier, like this morning, I wear it. Either way, the cut is flattering.


I have worn it with a sweater before and a blazer. Neither of which I even considered this morning when it was already 80 something by 10 am. The shoes are an on-line purchase. From where I don’t remember. My mind these days is life a sieve, full of wholes. Ugh!


Trying to embrace life wether the numbers are higher or lower on that scale. Living for today…it’s all I can handle anyway!!

Our new goal is $3,200.00 which will eliminate the balance on a credit card used for Courtney’s PT, OT and Feeding therapies and supplies used over the last five years. We have raised $729 of it so far. Only $2480.00 to go to pay this first one off. If we can raise the full amount, we can pay it off and be that much closer to our larger goal. One thing at a time. Thank you so much for your help. 


The entire medical debt is extensive, now approx. $67,3000. It’s a lot and will take years to whittle down. Anything helps. Anything. So, I will keep it at the bottom of my posts for awhile. You all have already given so much to our family. Our prayers are with you and we are so very grateful. We can never repay that kindness.
