PureFlix – Date Night with Purpose…

I am a huge movie fan. My favorite Friday night date with my husband is dinner and a movie. Wether it be one filled with explosions, a political thriller, si-fi or even a romantic comedy, I love it when the credits roll a new adventure begins on screen. There are movies that have defined a season in my life. “Pretty In Pink” was a fav in high school followed by “The Breakfast Club”. College and early married life were filled with any Tom Cruise movie (“A Few Good Men” anyone) as well as anything Star Wars since Jerry is quite the sci-fi fan.
It has always been challenging to find movies that don’t have a ton of foul language, inappropriate scenes or even, at times, a decent storyline. My taste in movie’s and TV shows has also changed over the years as I have searched to find content about hope and overcoming difficulties, movies and shows with a redemptive theme.
A few years ago, a friend of mine told me about PureFlix and I was sold.
PureFlix is a video-streaming service similar to Netflix, but with a conscience. They strive to be the most trusted family-friendly video-streaming source on the web. They have it all…a mix of family-friendly & wholesome entertainment including movies for all ages, kid’s animated titles, documentaries, how-to’s, hobbies, educational, health & fitness, sports, outdoors and travel plus many inspirational and devotional titles. It’s all delivered in the highest resolution possible and with a user-friendly viewing experience. We provide a wholesome viewing experience for your entire family that is fun, entertaining, inspirational, and educational.
The PureFlix team is constantly reviewing great quality content in order to continue to provide you with new titles. The best part is, their monthly fee of $10.99 is less than the cost of one adult movie ticket. It will provide you and your family with hours of quality entertainment. Recently I enjoyed watching “My Many Sons” based on the true story legendary basketball coach, who despite becoming wheelchair-bound after a nearly fatal car wreck, goes on to become the most winning basketball coach in NCAA history. Such a great story of perseverance and fortitude.
Last night I watched “Apple Mortgage Cake” a true story about Angela Logan, a single mother with 3 boys who risks everything and to bake her way out of foreclosure. I LOVED this movie. What an overcomer Ms Logan is. It also made mw want to order one of her apple cakes which she ships nation wide. I have yet to exhaust the search button on the website. So many choices.
Another benefit of a PureFlix membership is their blog. It contains so much great information to support you in your own faith journey, encouraging posts on parenting, biblical encouragement for times of difficulty as well as the best devotional apps.
I don’t usually write posts about a service or a product unless I absolutely LOVE them and want you to love them to. PureFlix is a good choice for wholesome family entertainment y’all. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
