pretty, happy, funny, real ~ vol. 11
First, thank you all for your sweet words of encouragement, prayers and helpful suggestions yesterday. It’s not everyday I have an emotional moment on video. Sheesh! So happy it wasn’t the ugly cry!
I so appreciate this little community we have created here. Know that I am fine, not a tear in sight today AND I didn’t fall into the chocolate buttercream bath either. Miss Courtney slept for ten hours last night which was just what I needed. Perspective is everything, and mine is definitely more positive today.
I cannot believe I have not done a {p,h,f,r} post for almost a month. Yikes. I love this little diddy so much and the community of women I have met through this weekly post have been so supportive and wonderful, I need to get back in the game here. Here we go…

I think roses, peonies and gerber daisies are my favorite flowers. When I was visiting a local garden a few weeks ago I cam across this bench strewn with centerpieces left from a weeding. I just thought they were breathtaking. The color combos along with the addition of the berries and other ornamentals…natural and breathtaking.

Last weekend I grilled the best chicken I have ever grilled in my life. No joke. the marinade was simple and bursting with flavor. My friend C’s daughter HB found it and shared it, so now I share it with you. As is my tradition, it will be forever called HB’s Marinade for Chicken and Beef. It will make your tummy very, very happy.

I have been knitting again and recently finished these three washcloths. I think I have a counting problem because they were all supposed to be the same size. Yikes! Oh well, at least now I know how to count rows. Progress is slow but purposeful.

Miss Courtney has a had a good day so far. We have added in an extra tube feeding before bedtime and more calories in the g-tube formula. Hopefully we will have a positive result in the next few weeks. We are running out of options here. So please keep praying for our girl. She needs to pack on the pounds.
I hope you have a great day! thanks for stopping by to stay hello!
So glad to hear you are having a better day! And those flowers are gorgeous!
Such beautiful flowers! Thank you.
