Our Courtney slipped into a coma in the wee hours of this Christmas Eve morning. She is still breathing, although for how long only God knows. We continue to wait by her bedside for God to carry her home.

Continuing prayers for you all from Atlanta. As we prepare to celebrate out Lord's birth, we also pray for a peaceful death for Courtney as He prepares to receive her in His arms.
God bless you all Mary, Jerry, Jonathan and especially Courtney as we welcome Christ and send Courtney to His loving arms. I'm sure He's waiting for her, a new saint for His kingdom. Still fervently praying for your many intentions. Christine and family.
thinking of you and praying for you each moment.
I have followed you just a few weeks and you have totally captured my heart. Know that my family is praying for all of you. I once heard a story of a teenage girl who was coming to the end of her life on a Christmas Eve. Her parents were afraid she would not see the morning, so they decided to open her presents and tell her about them, because they wanted her to know how so many people had given her a gift and how much she was loved. And then she peacefully died in her sleep during the holy Christmas night. Just wanted to share this story with you <3
My husband and I are praying for you all.
I had a thought last night: Courtney's purpose has been to bring all of us closer to God. By all of us, I am referring to those who follow you on social media, most assuredly your family, and many more who have yet to be brought into the fold, but most certainly will as more news about this special Angel is brought to light. I, for one, know I am closer to God than I have perhaps ever been and for that I am extremely grateful. Thank you, Courtney, for being a beacon of hope to so many people. Thank you, Mary, for continuing to share Courtney's story with the world. I am saddened to hear Miss C is in a coma now, but praying this means no more pain for her as she patiently waits for God to bring her home to Him.
Mary, I am thinking of you and your family often today. As much as I am happy that Courtney will be with God soon, I find myself tearing up when I think of how you, your husband, and son must be feeling and how you will miss her so very much. When I pray for you and your family I often find my self at a loss as to exactly what to ask for and I'm sure your needs change from minute to minute…..so I pray that God gives each of you exactly what you need, exactly when you need it. And always: peace, strength, hope, and faith.
Praying for you all.
I know you only through this blog, and only for a few weeks, and can say that I too will miss Courtney. We walk this with you. God bless you.
Praying for your family. God bless you all.
Praying for you every waking moment . . .
Keeping vigil with you. Our Courtney candle is halfway burned. I pass it often amd lift up prayers for you all.
You all are in my thoughts and prayers this Holy Night. Your dear Courtney is a chosen child – so special to the Holy Family. What graces are being flooded down on your home this special night as all these prayers and Masses are being offered. My candle for your Courtney burns near the manger in the Church. I am touched by your story. – Molly Murphey

Lifted your family up in my prayers at Mass this evening. Praying that you continue in the arms of God and thinking of how fitting that God has chosen this time to take Courtney home. Thank you for the love and resilience that shines through your posts and for you sharing your tribulations with us.
