Genius Conference 2019
One week ago I was standing on stage sharing my heart w/150 women in TX at the @geniusconference. I came into the weekend feeling nervous over my responsibilities and the fact that I had never met, in person, any of the team save one. I had prayed for them, chatted on-line but had no idea how we would work together in person.
We gathered to pray before the first talk and as we called upon the Holy Spirit, something shifted in my heart. It doesn’t happen to me often, but when it does, I know to surrender completely to what God needs me to do. Nerves or not, there was Ministry that needed doing, women who needed to be seen, known and loved, & to understand that their greatest shame was not greater that the Fathers love for them.
When @thelivharrison asked me to be a part of this team three months ago, I was flattered and humbled. I could not say “yes” fast enough. I just knew it was going to be special. Then I watched her as she opened her heart and soul doing the Fathers work and man was it awesome. Y’all when you are fully entering into your God given charism, He does not hold back His blessing. Liv you are an amazing team leader and MC. It was a joy to behold.
@marybielski you spoke w/ power & authority about who we are as women and who God is calling us to be. To be witness to your teaching was an incredible gift to me. I learned so much.
@allisonmsully you are a fierce woman of God with a heart for justice and mercy in those who live as outliers of society, the disenfranchised and the set aside. I took in every word of your teaching and it was fire! So inspiring and challenging in all the best ways! Miss Allison – it was an honor to sit st your feet and soak it all in.
@theoodlesofdoodles Miss Ali your humor, graciousness and incredible love for your Father, both on earth and in heaven, was a JOY to behold. You made me laugh and cry and want to get up and dance!! I can’t wait to serve with you again dear
