Bling and a cane
Sooooo…..I had another post ready for today, with cute shoes and earrings, a lovely summer outfit ready to go.
But then I went to see a skeletal muscular specialist and had PT on my left hip and in the process acquired this new fangled accessory.
Apparently for the next few weeks, this lovely cane will be by my side, assisting my hip in healing. Yippee!!
My official diagnosis?? I did a darn fine job jamming my left hip right into my sciatic nerves #2, #3 and #4 which forced my Piriformis and Gluteus Minimus to overreact to protect and keep my hip joint in place. Basically my body did it’s job and now it’s mad at me.
So the cane it is. Twice a week PT it is. Stretches and simple exercises to strengthen my inner pelvic core shall begin. In the meantime No Peleton. Walking only with a cane until my PT gives permission to lose it and lots of rest.
Tonight I’m grateful for modern medicine, for my friend Cathy who recommended the specialist, for Jerry who is taking such good care of me and for your prayers and kindness as well.
Not to worry friends. There are worse things in life. Trust me. For now, I need to find a bedazzler because this thing needs some bling. Don’t you think?
