a tuesday in june…

we are well…I promise…things are busy…a good busy…we went to a funeral this morning…Mrs. B was such an incredible example of selfless giving and service to those she loved most…we will miss her…Miss Courtney had a LOT to say during Mass…she was humming and singing up a storm…wowza was the spirit in her…but the best part of the Mass for me…Courtney smiling and giggling all the way up to Communion…she was so excited to receive Jesus…then when she did…silence…and such peace on her face…my girl is amazing in her ability to understand what is happening around her…it is such a privilege to watch her love God…it was a beautiful morning…there was a reception afterward…so many wonderful friends to catch up with…Miss Courtney did so well…not a seizure in sight…she laughed and was calm in the midst of all the noise and craziness…she smiled and leaned toward every single person that said her name…like I said a very good morning…we came home and spent the afternoon catching up with laundry folding…Lord will it ever end….the flippin laundry is out of control…there was dinner making and dishwashing…then snuggling and story time with Miss Court…bedtime and now finally it’s time for a lovely glass of lemonade on the rocks for Mama and a good book…oh…Court has been seizure free for 48 hours…oh yeah…a good day indeed…
