Jerry’s Italiano Mambo Meatballs

ByMary Lenaburg February 14, 2021June 18, 2021

Meatballs are very versatile and pretty inexpensive to make. I typically double or triple this recipe and roll them into different sizes, using some for spaghetti and meatballs and smaller ones for Italian Wedding Soup or Minestrone. They are quite tasty and a family favorite.

Every time I make these meatballs, Jerry starts singing the song “Mambo Italiano” by Dean Martin hence the name I have given them.

Jerry’s Italian MAMBO Meatballs

1 lb ground beef

1 egg

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 1/2 T dried Italian seasoning

salt and pepper to taste

1/4 Cup Seasoned Bread crumbs (GF is fine)

1/4 Cup grated parmesan cheese (leave out if dairy free)

Combine all ingredients.  Shape into 2 inch balls. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 min until done. Use immediately or flash freeze for later.
